Silvans Shroud

Silvans Shroud is a new take on a classic game type. A combination of Real-Time-Strategy and First Person Shooter. The players starts the game off with a few units and are able to start building their base. After gathering some more wood the player can construct walls, worker dens, towers, and more. The world is set on a day/night cycle and during the night enemies will attack the players base. The players job is to choose a warrior unit to possess and fight off the oncoming invaders using a variety of guns. The player wins the game if they can track down the 4 enemy camps and destroy them but will lose if the enemies destroy their base. 

This game was created for a rapid prototyping class. This game was made during a 2 week sprint where we playtested the game and then made changes base on playtester feedback.

My roles on the team were level design which included the play area as well as enemy camps. I was also in charge of weapon design. 

Smoke Trails

Smoke Trails is a 2D stealth game where the player must steal multiple items while avoiding guards. The player has access to 2 items that will hep them avoid detection. Smoke bombs that turn the player invisible and a knife that can kill guards from behind. 

Guards will wander around the map and if they detect the player they will give chase for a time. If the player escapes the guard will return to its set path.

My roles on the team were level design as well as AI design where I created the paths that all the guards take.
