The Metaverse, Its Competitors, and Users Hypothesis

Project: 5 minute presentation on the Metaverse

Time: 2 weeks

End Result: I received a 90% on the assignment

This assignment was the first of four for the semester. We were given a choice of a few products to follow for the duration of the semester. I chose the Metaverse Horizon Worlds project, a VR life sim project my Meta. I was tasked to research the product and see what it was and then find competitors and do a SWOT analysis. Finally I had hypothesis personas of users that may use this kind of product. 

User Survey, Usability, and Accessibility

Project: 5 minute presentation on the Metaverse

Time: 2 weeks

End Result: I received a 90% on the assignment

This assignment required me to create a survey to create accurate research based personas for the horizon worlds and Metaverse products. I also had to play around inside Horizon worlds to create a usability report with various disabilities in mind as well as come up with possible fixes for those issues. 

 

User Journeys

Project: 5 minute presentation on the Metaverse

Time: 2 weeks

End Result: I received a 100% on the assignment

I was tasked with creating a user survey that showed users journeys with the Metaverse product. Based on those surveys I created user journeys that shows off key points in the way people think about and interact with VR.  

 

Reputation Economy

Project: 5 minute presentation on reputation economy

Time: 2 weeks

End Result: I received a 95% on the assignment

For this assignment, I was told to research what a reputation economy was. I had 2 weeks to prepare a 5 minute presentation on what is a reputation economy, do people in the community know what they are, what the communities feelings on reputation economy are, and then a usability report for 3 apps that use a reputation economy.
